Description
The air-locker is a differential designed for direct replacement of your existing one. It can be used either as a conventional differential or as a 100 % locked unit — either front or rear. When engaged, it locks both half-shafts and thereby transfers driving force equally (50 % : 50 %) to both wheels for maximum traction. The locking mechanism is controlled by the driver via a button on the vehicle’s dashboard. The front lock can be activated when driving on slippery surfaces with reduced grip and deactivated when driving on a surface with good grip, in order to maintain optimal steering control. For safety reasons, the front lock cannot be used unless the rear one is already activated.
 
Kit contents
The kit includes everything necessary for mounting the differential lock, along with instructions for installation. Installation at an authorized service centre is recommended.
